Perth is touted as among the most isolated cities on the planet. That is because although it is situated in the Australian continent, it is very far from any neighboring cities. Like in most cities in the continent, summer seasons are not usually too dry. Sporadic rainfalls do occur. Winters in Perth can also get freezing. Winters are also wet.
Tourism is very active in Perth during the months of February and March. That is because in the period, the festival of Perth is taking place. Annually, thousands of vacationers from the country and from abroad come to Perth to take part in the celebration of the city’s entertainment scene in the form of drama, visual arts, music, dance and films. In September, the annual Perth Royal Show is highlighted, another crowd drawer. Meanwhile, Octobers are also set busy as Perth stages the Northbridge Festivals and the alternative Artrage Festival.
Perth has one of the most booming economies in the whole of Australia. The main industry providing a stream of revenues and income to Perth is its mining industry. Currently, the very high demand for important minerals, specifically from China, is fueling the local economy in the state and in the city. About half of Perth’s exports are mining commodities. Retail and labor services also abound in Perth.
As for it tourism industry, Perth remains attractive to vacationers. It may not be the most visited city in Australia but it is normally commanding visits of about 2 million from vacationers both domestically and internationally. The services and hotel services are becoming among the most important services provided in the city.
